ACHIEVEMENT IN EVERY FIELD OF HUMAN ENDEAVOR
Below we have documented some of the many great achievements that the Kappa Lambda Chapter and its brothers have accomplished. Through hard work and perseverance our Chapter has thrived in multiple areas creating a diverse portfolio of awards. As a whole we pride ourselves on upholding the reputation of our noble Klan; which brings no surprise to the gracious recognition our chapter has received. Gratification is always heart warming, but as we celebrate our successes we know that the work of Kappa is never finished. The awards and accomplishments are porvided in chronoligical order.
Lead Kappa Participant
Recipient:Brother Jerome D. Mason
Brother Mason was selected as a participant for the 2015 Lead Kappa program. Lead Kappa is a leadership development program sponsored by corperate partmners of Kappa Alpha Psi.
Student of the Year Competition
Recipient:Brother Jonathan Harris
Brother Jonathan Harris participated and won 3rd place in the 2015 student of the year competition.
Mel L.Davis Guideright Award
Recipient: Brother Wayne Rivers Byrd
Brother Wayne Rivers Byrd recieved the Mel L. Davis Guideright Award. This award is presented at each Grand Chapter Meeting in honor of Past Journal Editor Mel L. Davis who successfully along with Elder Watson Diggs Awardee, Edgar H. Bishop, founded the Kappa Instructional Leadership League. This award is reserved for an Undergraduate Brother who has demonstrated outstanding Guide Right Leadership.
Kappa Fellow
Recipient: Brother Morris B. Lee
Brother Morris B. Lee was selected to partcipate the Zeta Klass of the Undergraduate Leadership Institue. A week long intensive leadership training program for the top 100 undergraduate leaders in the nation. Upon completion of the GE Sponsored event, Brother Lee was designated as a Kappa Fellow, one of the highest undergraduate desginations.
The KAPsi Journal
Recipient: Brother Devin Gordon
Devin was featured on The Kappa Alpha Psi Journal for his outstanding academic acheivement. As an active Brother of our chapter and an active student on Clemson's campus he has been involved in multiple endeavors. Even with a plate full of responsibilities he managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA. Kappa Lambda is very proud to be represented by Devin Gordon, our present Polemarch.
Byron Kenneth Armstrong Award
Recipient: Brother Cliffton Thomas
Brother Cilfton K. Thomas (Left) recieved the Byron Kenneth Armstrong award. The Byron K. Armstrong Scholars Award is the only Grand Chapter award available to undergraduate members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for outstanding achievement.
